Before I visited this site in person, I could see this statue from the city. I had always thought it was a statue of Jesus Christ. As I approached this statue, as you can see, you can see that it is a statue of the Virgin Mary. At the lower left of this photo, you can see a much smaller statue of the Christ!! The grounds are beautiful with various walking trails.
